Christine Whittemore

May 2006 - Chair of the Greeter Subcommittee

As Chair of the Greeter Subcommittee since 2004, Christine Whittemore coordinates greeters for club events. Her goal is to ensure peace-of-mind for the event organizer, a welcoming presence for event attendees and total focus for the event presenter. "Greeting offers a unique opportunity to become acquainted with the club, to test the waters and experience firsthand the vibrancy of the alumni connection here in NYC", says Whittemore. "I encourage new and existing members to get involved by greeting. You will be amazed at what a terrific club this is and how much fun you have!"

In her current role as Director of In-Store Innovation for Solutia [formerly Monsanto]'s Wear-Dated carpet fiber division, Christine pursues her passion for and fascination with understanding consumers and improving the retail experience. She has been with Monsanto/Solutia since obtaining her MBA [93] in marketing from Columbia Business School. She holds a BA in Art History from Smith College.
